The estate is located just a few minutes’ drive from the beautiful white sandy dunes of Cape Comino and from the naturalistic oasis of the Bidderosa Regional Park in Berchidda. The town of San Teodoro and its popular beaches is also easily reachable within a 20 minutes drive. The Hotel has been built in the mid 80’s and has been recently renovated. It lies on the edge of a fragrant pine forest, in the immediate surroundings of a fine white sand beach, into an area dominated by the Castello della Fava, the ancient medieval village, former residence of the sovereign Eleanor of Arborea. The hotel structure comprises a central building with the common services and the restaurant, and several little villas, scattered in the whereabouts of the main house, where all the guests rooms are located. The villas are all on ground level with private entrance and surrounded by green areas. The 55 rooms are all furnished in the typical seamanship plain style of the place and include telephone, TV set, air conditioning and private bathroom. Rooms for disabled guests are available.
The Hotel has a reception room, a banquet room, a restaurant, a TV room, a bar, an outdoor swimming pool and also a play room with table football and table tennis. Open parking and Internet WI FI are available. The management also organize bicycle tours, rubber boats tours, diving and fishing beats. The stay also includes a sun umbrella and two beach-chairs per room, immediately available on the beach spot reserved for hotel’s guests.

Posada, center of the Barony (in the Provincial Area of Nuoro), stands perched on a limestone hill on which summit is situated the ancient Castle of Fava, dominating the alluvial plain where still flows the homonym creek. After various ups and downs of history, around AD 1380 the throne of the Ruler of Gallura and d’Arborea was conquered by the Aragonese from Spain. Then the Reign fell under the jurisdiction of Arborea; though it was ultimately under the fiefdom of Carròs that it has been transformed into a barony. To get to the Castle you need to pass through the town’s streets that wind up the hill. From the inside it is still possible to see the medieval structure of the building, dated back to the thirteenth century. The picturesque village of Posada is one of the oldest inhabited Sardinian settlements. The discovery (in the'70s) of a Nuragic-Etruscan necropolis, together with the finding of hand-made furnishings, testifies the presence of man since a very remote era. It is said that in Posada had landed the first "People of the Sea (the Shardanas)” from Asia Minor. The touristic offer in Posada is essentially composed of seasonal house renting, mainly due to the lack of services and accommodations.
Most of the seasonal renting is available in the historic center of the Town, or either in the village of San Giovanni (next to the sea).
A few kilometers from the town center, you can easily reach the coastline and the beach of San Giovanni, with its ancient tower and the marina. Not to neglect to visit other popular beaches such as Su Tiriarzu and Orvile. Do not miss the festival in honor of the Madonna del Soccorso and the feast for the patron Saint Antonio abate, with the traditional bonfire, each year on January the 16th. Traditional meat plates with sausages and pork with a taste of local red wine are usually offered throughout the day.
