S'anninnia Room & Breakfast is a family run inn. The building mainly consist of a comfortable restaurant on the ground floor that offers you all sorts of characteristic Mediterranean dishes, and the guest’s rooms on the first floor, each with its own private bathroom and balcony.
The interior decoration is inspired by the neighboring environment, in order to bear witness and to stick to the Sardinian culture and tradition, so rich in history, wishes and hospitality.
The structure is open all year round.

S’Anninnia is located in the village of Gonnesa, along the south-west coast of Sardinia, just 3 km from the sea, right in the heart of the geo-mining park. A beautiful surrounding area with many fine-sand beaches in a natural setting of rare beauty.

Opened in June 2005, the lodge characterize for its quite atmosphere and efficient service, in order to propose you a remarkable pleasant stay.
Supermarket, bars, tobacco shops, bank, chemist, cloth stores and all essential services will also be at close hand in the village.
The dining room has been opened in August 2009. The Restaurant offer some of the best selection of Sardinian traditional plates, both from sea and land, with simplicity and genuineness.
Rooms.
The building comprise six bedrooms (four double rooms, two single rooms) located on the first floor. The rooms are fully furnished by local artisans, privileging the typical Sardinian style and the warm Mediterranean colors.
Each guestroom is equipped with private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, large balcony, air conditioning, internet Wi-Fi and TV set.

Recreation and Sports. An infinite variety of sports and small adventures around Gonnesa are waiting for you! an excursion by mountain bike in the mining ghost towns, a climb around the Pan di Zucchero rock or just a ride on horseback. Also the Funtanamare beach, only a couple of miles away, is one of the best know Sardinian paradise for surfers and wind-surfers. Reservations for visits to the mines and the Nuraghe Seruci are also available.

Gonnesa is a little community situated on the south-eastern part of Sardinia with approx. 5.200 inhabitants and belongs to the province of Carbonia-Iglesias. Carbonia is about 14 km away, and Cagliari, the capital city of the island, about 70 km.
The nearest beaches are: Porto Paglia and Funtanamare.
Gonnesa is an ideal starting point to explore the south-western part of Sardinia with its high sandy dunes, long beaches, cliffs and numerous abandoned mines. It is possible to visit a few of them and some really interesting caves with guided tours. Other recommended trips are the visit of the islands S. Pietro and S. Antioco in the south, and to explore the famous Costa Verde (the green coast), proceeding northwards along the coastline.
Funtanamare: the beach shows a background of golden sand surrounded by reefs and the leftovers of the ore port. At Funtanamare you can admire the magnificent dunes, and the remarkable cliffs shaped upon the force of the strong mistral wind (a call for many surfers) typical of the south-west coast of Sardinia.

Porto Paglia: further south along the coast of Gonnesa, with its dunes and bays set between the cliffs, the place is suitable for those who love beaches not too crowded and unspoiled nature. From Porto Paglia looking southward it is possible to see the ancient church of the fishermen located on a rock that rises from the sea, and can be reached only by boat.

Plagemesu (also known as S'Arena): it is the busiest in the marina surroundings. Attended by many young people. Car parks available nearby. Beach services and small Kiosks are available during the summer months where it is possible to rent sun umbrellas and deck chairs. Sometimes the beach service might have a small portion of the beach reserved for guests who are willing to rent the large beach umbrella with two beach chairs.
The Gonnesa country is not only sea and beaches: the presence of a swamp, the great variety of species now rare, as well as the pine forest that stretches along the coast, not far from the deserted villages of Normann, Monte Onixeddu and Seddas Moddizzi, rare gems of the regional geo-mining park, makes the place very charming and interesting for tourists. Not to mention the ancient nuraghical village Seruci, with its Nuraghe and its Domus de Janas, which is considered the largest of Sardinia as it stretches for more than six hectares, still partly unexplored and soon to be open to the public.
